What is your anti-spam policy?

The safety of our creators, viewers, and partners is our highest priority. We look to each member to help us protect our unique and vibrant community. It’s important you understand our Community Guidelines and the role they play in our shared responsibility to keep GastroTerra safe. Take the time to carefully read the policy below. 

Note: We may update this information from time to time. It is your responsibility to review this policy regularly and be familiar with it, especially if you post certain types o content.
GastroTerra doesn’t allow spam, scams, or other deceptive practices that take advantage of the GastroTerra community. We also don’t allow content where the main purpose is to trick others into leaving GastroTerra for another site.

If you find content that violates this policy, report it by clicking on the exclamation point (!) or contacting us.

WHAT THESE POLICIES MEAN FOR YOU

If you're posting content, don’t post content on GastroTerra if it fits any of the descriptions noted below:

  1. Photo or Video Spam: Content that is excessively posted, repetitive, or untargeted and does one or more of the following: Promises viewers they'll see something but instead directs them off-site. Gets clicks, views, or traffic off GastroTerra by promising viewers that they’ll make money fast. Sends audiences to sites that spread harmful software, tries to gather personal information or other sites that have a negative impact. Excessive, repetitive commercial postings that refer people to purchase any kind of product or service from you. Remember, GastroTerra is a B2B community. Therefore, any postings that are of a B2C nature will be removed immediately without notice. Examples include "book a trip", "enroll in our class today", meal specials, and items of similar nature.
  2. Promises viewers they'll see something but instead directs them off-site.
  3. Gets clicks, views, or traffic off GastroTerra by promising viewers that they’ll make money fast.
  4. Sends audiences to sites that spread harmful software, tries to gather personal information, or other sites that have a negative impact.
  5. Excessive, repetitive commercial postings that refer people to purchase any kind of product or service from you. Remember, GastroTerra is a B2B community. Therefore, any postings that are of a B2C nature will be removed immediately without notice. Examples include "book a trip", "enroll in our class today", meal specials, and items of similar nature.
  6. Misleading Metadata or Thumbnails: Using the title, thumbnails, and description to trick users into believing the content is something it is not.
  7. Scams: Content offering cash gifts, “get rich quick” schemes, or pyramid schemes (sending money without a tangible product in a pyramid structure).
  8. Incentivization Spam: Content that sells engagement metrics such as views, likes, comments, or any other metric on GastroTerra. This type of spam can also include content where the only purpose is to boost subscribers, views, or other metrics.
  9. Comment Spam: Comments where the sole purpose is to gather personal info from viewers, misleadingly drive viewers off GastroTerra, or perform any of the prohibited behaviors noted above.
  10. Repetitive comments: Leaving large amounts of identical, untargeted or repetitive comments.
This policy applies to comments, reactions, news and blog posts, calendar posts, photo and video descriptions, and any other GastroTerra product or feature. Keep in mind that this is not a complete list. Please note these policies also apply to external links where your content leads.
