There is a simple, single annual licensing fee for Culinary Capitals certification. The exact amount depends on a few factors that we will go over with you on a call. The fee covers our staff time to review your application, perform our analysis and write your report. For subsequent years, the annual licensing fee always includes processing your updated application to give you a new report and updated index score (you will need to update your application first however).
Your destination's annual licensing fee will stay the same for the first three years you are in the program. Beginning with the fourth year in the program, your annual licensing fee is subject to change.
The annual fee also covers your program participation - either as a Culinary Capital, OR as a Culinary Candidate if your destination does not score high enough on the application (70.00% or higher). Both programs offer guidance with your culinary tourism strategy, culinary product development and culinary promotions. The only difference is the complexity of our support. Culinary Candidates destinations are newer to gastronomy tourism and need a different type of guidance than destinations that have been doing food & beverage tourism for a long time.
The annual licensing fee is subject to change, so please contact us to find out the current fee structure at the time of your application.
Invoicing is available in the following currencies: USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, CHF, JPY, AUD, NZD, SGD. Wire payment is preferred. Credit cards are subject to a 3.5% credit card processing fee.
