Our former CCTP (Certified Culinary Travel Professional) program was a broad food tourism industry education program that our Association offered from 2008 through 2018. The CCTP was retired in 2018 after we graduated nearly 1000 professionals world-wide.

Today's Culinary Tourist Guide certification program is entirely different and is designed specifically for culinary tourist guides. The content focuses specifically on culinary tour guiding. The training process itself has also been upgraded. We have other programs for other professions, including culinary tour operators, culinary travel agents, destination marketers, foodservice professionals, and so on.

While we still recognize the former CCTP designation, anyone who previously graduated from our CCTP program can request a discount equal to your previous CCTP purchase price, to be applied to the new certification of your choice. Please open a support ticket and submit your request for the discount. Be sure to include your month (if available) and year of CCTP graduation. It will make things much easier if you can find a copy of your receipt from the purchase of the previous program.
